BIO-REACTORS

We are trying something new that we are excited about! While speaking in Colorado this past winter, Mark and Cole listened to Dr. David Johnson from New Mexico State University, talk about making your own fungi spores to apply to crop land and help put our soils back in biological balance. We have two bio-reactors which Edwin and Cade built up and going at the Ranch. The process takes about a year to turn the material into fungi spores which we can then apply to the seeds in our drill before planting. Another experiment in trying to improve our soil health.
